Rebels off to top start

The boot of James O’Connor proved the difference as the Rebels opened the Super Rugby season with a 30-23 home win over the Force last night. Both sides scored three tries, but O’Connor landed three penalties and three conversions to lead his side to victory. Earlier, Hosea Gear scored a hat-trick but the Highlanders lost a pre-season game 31-29 to the Blues.
