Role for Howman
New Zealander David Howman has been appointed to a new role to lead the battle against doping and corruption in athletics. The former senior World Anti-Doping Agency official David Howman was appointed yesterday as chairman of the newly established Athletics Integrity Unit. International athletics federation (IAAF) president Seb Coe said Howman, a lawyer who was director general at WADA for 13 years until 2016, was the perfect choice for the role.
