Government power

-

If we are all equal under the eyes of God then why are we all made unequal under the laws of government?

Inequality grows faster as Christianity declines. In 1853, 93 per cent of New Zealanders classified themselves as Christian and now in 2018 less than 46 per cent classify themselves as Christian.

It worries me how Jacinda Ardern is going to end poverty and inequality when she was sworn in as New Zealand’s Prime Minister (25th Oct 2017) without God being mentioned. Government clearly shapes society.

After the last 45 years of exponential money printing fuelled by government spending (debt) that has benefited ‘‘the few’’ at the expense of ‘‘the many’’ a monetary reset dawns in 2018. The birth of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is paving the way for a cashless society.

A digital technology that records every transaction without the banking system extracting profits, allows our government to modernise taxation and give the power to create money to the state, whilst making itself smaller.

It is time to tax spending not income. It is logical to say the more you earn the more you spend. So government should abolish personal income tax and upgrade goods and services tax (with no loopholes) so the economy is taxed fairly.

Only the wealthy would say the poor are disadvantaged by such law, but the poor have only so much to spend whereas the wealthy have much more!

I’m sorry God, government has the power!
