Record Ma¯ori achievement

A record number of Ma¯ori health professionals will graduate from Otago University at the weekend. When the 76 graduands cross the Dunedin Town Hall stage on Saturday they will make history by being the largest group of Ma¯ori health professionals to graduate from the university. The cohort includes 40 doctors, 13 physiotherapists, five pharmacists, seven dentists, five oral health specialists, five doctors of clinical dentistry, and a bachelor of pharmacy graduate.
