Nominations open for by-elections

Nominations open today for candidates interested in two South Taranaki by-elections. The elections are needed to fill the vacant Te Hāwera general ward councillor position and the vacant Pātea Community Board position. Nomination forms can be collected from the Hāwera Administration Building, Pātea Libraryplus or online at www.southtaranaki. com/vote2022. The completed nomination forms must be returned before midday on Thursday, December 22. Voting in the Te Hāwera and Pātea wards opens on Thursday, January 26, and closes at midday on Friday, February 17, next year.
