Ars Nova Choir presents Stabat Mater, St Andrew’s Church, New Plymouth, tomorrow 7pm. Join us for Karl Jenkins’ moving and hauntingly beautiful work. Directed by Christopher Luke and featuring soloist Juliet Woller with accompaniment by the Ars Antiqua Chamber Orchestra. Tickets: $25 adults; $5 students. Landslide – Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks Tribute Show, Butlers Reef, Ōakura, tomorrow 8.30pm Landslide is a live five-piece band who have been celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks for the past 11 years, covering well-known classics from Fleetwood Mac as well as Stevie’s solo hits. Expect to hear Dreams, Sara, Rhiannon, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Seven Wonders, Don’t Stop, Edge of Seventeen, Tusk, Gypsy, Black Magic Woman, Rooms on Fire, and Little Lies, to name a few.
Ōpunake Lions Mountain to Sea CrossCountry Bike Ride, top of Upper Ihaia Rd to Ōpunake Beach, Sunday 9.30am
The Ōpunake Lions are hosting their cross-country mountainbike ride, which traverses farmland and finishes at Ōpunake Beach. Entry fees: $55 for adults; $20 for children under 15. For more information and to register, visit: lionsmountainbikeride.com.
