Feastival Taranaki combines local food collaborat­ion and the seasonal and rich bounty of our region and people. The event celebrates all the amazing things about autumn – the food grown here, the talented people who create it and the unique places where we experience it. Hāwera 2ZH Country & Variety Music Club, today, 7.30pm-10.30pm

Held at the Hāwera Pipe Band Hall, 89 Collins St. All welcome. Come along and have a sing or listen. Great band. Supper. Club nights are held every second and fourth Friday. Non-members $7, members $5, children under 12 free.

Taranaki Airs v Tauranga Whai, TSB Stadium, tomorrow, 4pm tip-off

Come and support our Taranaki Airs and help protect the peak. Children under the age of 14 are required to be accompanie­d by an adult at all times and there are no pass outs for this event. Get tickets from Ticketek or at the door.

SIX60 Sessions, TSB Showplace, Tuesday, April 16, 7.30pm

In true SIX60 fashion, not only will they be playing live, but they will also be recording these moments for a ‘Best Of Grassroots Tour’ album to be released later this year offering fans a tangible piece of New Zealand music history. Limited tickets available at Ticketek.

Housing Crisis discussion, New Plymouth District Council Debating Chamber, Thursday, April 18, 9.30am-11am

Positive Ageing, New Plymouth.

Age Concern Taranaki and the New Plymouth District Council are holding a free forum on April 18 where experts will be asked to give their views on both this drastic problem and its solutions. The forum, with a top panel of speakers, will start at 9:30am with time for questions.
