Deer Stalkers: Starting this Sunday, the New Zealand Deer Stalkers Taupo have a Club Range Day every third Sunday of the month. This is a chance to use your hunting rifle or your .22 rabbit gun in the positions that you would use in the field – prone, sit, kneel and standing. $5.00 Range Fee applies. Taupo Moana Rebus Club: a club for active retirees. Meeting for all members and potential members commencing at 10am, in the upstairs lounge at the Taupo Cossie Club. Guest speaker, morning tea provided. Animates Kids Activity Programme: Animates Taupo¯, 80 Tamamutu St. From 11am to noon. Face painting, colouring-in competitio­ns and a fun interactiv­e educationa­l workshop on small animals such as rabbits & guinea pigs, with the opportunit­y for children to pick up, touch and handle the animals, with staff supervisin­g. Ashton Family Circus & Dylan Daisy’s Magic Show: Tongariro North Domain, April 28 and 29 from 12:00pm. All the fun of the circus free at The Extravagan­za Fair. Performing throughout the day this family show will charm and delight the young and old. From acrobats, dancing, performing ‘tigers’ and magic. Midday Concert: Alex Wiltshire and Friends. Alex and friends offer a varied program, starting with some classical items and moving through into some lighter well known audience favourites. Everyone is welcome.
