It had been a week of no-show rain but finally, on TriSport Taupo¯ race day, the torrential rain came. Fortunately it didn’t seem to deter racers.

Top spots were taken in the long course by Cameron Paul, Clark Ellice, Corey LeCouteur and Hannah Howell.

Short course winners were Marcel Abele, Kasper Lenoir and Joseph Brown along with Sheree Gage, Debi Woodward and Aniek Lenoir. Teams were won by Team Woodward-Raven followed by Team 3 Generations (E, S and T McMahon). The club thanked Top Gear cycles for spot prizes and the volunteers.
