Heart scanner appeal

The Taupo¯ Hospital and Health Society have started a major fundraising project to buy a heart scanner for Taupo¯ Hospital, value around $350,000.

This will save many patients a day in Rotorua for the scan procedure and of course will get results quicker.

I urge all readers and residents to get behind this appeal.

All residents are possible beneficiaries of this life-saving machine, why not help save a life? Taupo is now the “most beautiful large town in New Zealand”. Let’s add “The town with the best health services in New Zealand”.
