Monday, November 26 was the final of the November Pairs and the overall winners were Chris Jones and Sheila Taylor with 56.11 per cent. Kim Chung and Joan Berg won the Tuesday Open in N/S with 68.29 per cent along with Rosemary Ritchie and Edna Nicholson in E/W with 58.8 per cent. Wednesday evening session one of the Christmas Pairs and was won by Derek and Frances Rankin with 60.42 per cent. Friday’s Rosebowl competition, session 13, was won by Marilyn and John Sunley in N/S with 58.8 per cent. Pam Burry and Patricia Tyler came first in E/W with 58.56 per cent.
