Waste educator to give two workshops

Want to tread lighter on the earth by reducing waste?

Waste educator and speaker Kate Meads will be in Taupo¯ next month presenting two workshops: Waste Free Living and Food Lovers’ Masterclas­s.

The workshops are supported by your local council, and are a great opportunit­y for locals to become educated and activated on reducing waste from all angles.

Attendees get a gift pack worth $100 with their ticket which is full of waste minimisati­on products like food pouches and wraps, stainless steel straws and more.

Tickets are $15 plus booking fee.

At the Waste Free Living Workshop prepare to be inspired, become motivated, and take control of your household’s impact on our future. Get lots of inspiratio­nal education around ways you can minimise waste.

At the Food Lovers’ Masterclas­s topics include meal planning, smart shopping, smart storage, the first in first out approach/method, the difference between use by and best before and when all else fails, the last resort options.
