Weekday Women

A group of 18 lady golfers took a punt with the weather last Tuesday and managed to get the Ambrose team competition played. The best score of 75.5 nett was achieved by the team of Trish Macklow, Fran Fuller and Jessie Newman. Gail Searle, Pam Upchurch and Wynne Murdock scored a nett of 76.2 for second. There was only one nearest to the pin and that was Margery MacDonald. The raffle, sponsored by the Merchant of Taupo¯ , was won by Yvonne Raureti-Carson. Next week is the Foursomes Cup competition on the Tauhara course.
