TOWNCENTRE TAUPŌ UPDATE

It is all go at Towncentre Taupō right now. We are very excited for the Stella Awards Celebration Evening, where we will honor and celebrate our local businesses. The awards entrants have impressed judges with how clever, creative, resilient, innovative and dedicated they are to keep their businesses going over the last two very difficult years. This Saturday we will celebrate all those efforts!

Towncentre Taupō is still heavily involved in the Taupō Town Centre Transformation Project. Chairman, Ben Westerman, sits on the Steering Committee, who assist in project direction and making big picture decisions. General Manager, Julie McLeod, is contracted to Taupō District Council as the Stakeholder Specialist. While it is not always an easy task, representing and advocating for our members through every stage of the project is vital to maximising opportunities and minimising harm through construction.

While it is hard to believe another year has gone past, the Towncentre Taupō AGM is being held on Tuesday, 13 September. All members are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there. You can RSVP to julie@ towncentretaupo.co.nz

Plans are well underway for the 11th annual Graffiato: Taupō Street Art Festival, taking place over Labour Weekend. We are preparing to once again transform the walls of the CBD into beautiful works of art. Keep an eye out for more details.
