THUMBS UP

■ Thumbs up to Clifford from Lakeside Cleaning Services who did a wonderful job cleaning our windows, and even cleaned the cobwebs around the windows.

■ To Josh Ward at Ebbett Taupō for service above and beyond requirements to a very grateful customer at Liston Heights Retirement Village.

■ To the Maze Landscapes team for a fabulous effort on transforming our home. They kept us informed and included us as the project took shape. We look forward to summer BBQs on our deck.

THUMBS DOWN

■ To the stag party at Pak’nSave Taupō on Saturday morning who thought it was funny to send the ‘stag’ around the supermarket to scare customers by putting up a deer roar. You need to practise (not at the supermarket), as the roar sounded like a howl. The rest of us shoppers, who couldn’t see what was going on, found it unsettling as it sounded like someone was attacking someone else.
