Fourteen Taupō Vets represente­d Taupō at the penultimat­e C.N.I. Interclub held at Tokoroa on November 19.

Hosts Tokoroa won the Little Man Trophy on the day with an aggregate score of 191 followed by Taupō on 172 points and Kinloch and Mangakino with 167 points. The Moawhango Bridge Sheild is lead by Taupō on 555 points from Tokoroa on 536 points, Kinloch on 520, and Mangakino on 419, with the final round at Mangakino on December 9.

Top Taupō scores: Vet President Neil Murley made 38 points followed by John Roberts on 34, and Brian Macken, Steven Anderson and Selwyn McLennan on 33.

Longest Putt — Geoff Burton on Hole 9.

Final C.N.I. Interclub on December 9, at Mangakino.

Taupō Vets programe for November 23 is the Shootout with one round to go: Seniors — Selwyn McLennan, Craig Greenwood, Tony Rutledge, Bob Burns, Graham Woodcock, Tim Paterson, Pat White, Allan LLoyd and Brian Macken +1.

Juniors: Chris Nilsson, Dennis O’Callaghan, Doug Cullen, Murray Stanley, Richard Dermer, Peter Coles, John Mather, Grant Birch and Tim Haige. +1 Final on Wednesday, November 30 with a 9am start.

Programe for non shoot out Vets is a Par on Tauhara to be followed by the 2022 prizegivin­g and a Stableford on November 30. Wednesday, December 7 is the Central Motor Group Hamper Day on Tauhara (20 qualifying rounds).
