Florence+The Machine at Laneway Festival

-

What a great way to kick off your concert going 2019. In a very special nod to their 10th Anniversary celebrations, the incredible Florence + The Machine return to Auckland’s St. Jerome's Laneway Festival 2019 at Albert Park on Monday, January 28, a decade after performing on the first ever Auckland Laneway in 2010.

A very happy birthday to St. Jerome's Laneway Festival indeed!

To celebrate this epic occasion, we’re offering up the chance to win one of two copies of Florence + The Machine’s new album High As Hope.

It contains the singles Sky Full Of Song, Hunger and Big God and is described as being is as intimate as it is epic, venturing into new sonic territory whilst reaching back to Florence’s roots, and, as Florence describes it, “is a pure expression of who I am now, as an artist, and an honest one.”

The UK artist has dazzled fans and critics alike across three earlier celebrated studio albums: Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011) and How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015), which have produced a slew of worldwide hits including You’ve Got The Love, Dog Days Are Over, Shake It Out and Spectrum (Say My Name) among many others.

The new album is the ideal precursor to the Laneway 2019 festivities.

Along with FATM, the stellar line-up promises a full day of musical discovery and adventure and includes New Zealand debuts from future R’n’B superstar Jorja Smith, beloved heartstring puller Rex Orange County, teen sensation Billie Eilish, hip hop’s brightest new star Denzel Curry, plus unmissable sets from the mighty Gang Of Youths, peerless electronic pioneer Jon Hopkins, Australian songwriter royalty Courtney Barnett and much, much more.

The original boutique festival is setting up to be the highlight of your summer.

With Florence +The Machine’s headline show at Spark Arena having sold out in double quick time, Laneway 2019 has just become the one of the hottest tickets in town.
