Par­sons five-over-par at Christ­mas tour­na­ment

An­drew Par­sons won best over­all gross with a three-over-par 75 in the Piron­gia Golf Club Christ­mas tour­na­ment.

Scor­ing was gen­er­ally of a high stan­dard, mem­ber Stephen Law says.

Nett win­ners were Dean Scott (se­nior) with 66, Phillip Eyre (in­ter­me­di­ate) 64, David Peryer (ju­nior) 66, Eileen Black­wood (ladies) 74.

Lead­ing se­nior men’s stable­ford scor­ers were Derek Boyle, Matt Car­son with 39 points, An­drew John­ston, Kevin Ap­pleby, Tyne Watts, Alex Cruickshank 37, Sal­is­bury, Miezen­beek 36.

Jack Hjorth topped the in­ter­me­di­ate men’s stable­ford with 44, from Hans Niere­mei­jer, Bren­dan Close, Howard Wyn­yard 41, Doug Gran­tham, Bill Fox 39, Daryl Baty 38, Kerry New­son 37.

Ju­nior men’s win­ner was Dave Lamb with 42 stable­ford, from Don Mat­son 41, Jim Dunn, Jonathon Makuch 40, Bruce Goile, Paul Davie 39, Barry Ford­ham, Linc Quar­rie, Brian Duffy 38. Con­rad Carl

Lead­ing women: Paula McFar­lane, Addy Niere­mei­jer, Emma Yarnd­ley 33, An­drea Vale 32, Di Stock­dale 32.

Long­est drives win­ners: Carl Miezen­beek (se­nior), Ross Sig­nal (in­ter­me­di­ate), Stu­art Yarnd­ley (ju­nior), Emma Yarnd­ley (women).
