Free memberships for kids in 2020
The Chiefs Rugby Club will be offering free kids’ memberships with every adult membership purchased in select zones for the 2020 Investec Super Rugby Season.
Memberships include access to seven Gallagher Chiefs home games at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton.
The new initiative is available when purchasing a 2020 Gallagher Chiefs adult membership, which comes with a free kid’s membership in the same zone.
Fans can take up the offer when purchasing memberships in the fan zone (Wel Network stand), family uncovered zone (Wel Network stand) and green zone (embankment).
Chiefs Rugby Club chief executive officer Michael Collins said the new membership initiative will be a great chance for the younger generation to experience Investec Super Rugby.
“We wanted to make it easier for our families within the Chiefs region to have the opportunity to create great rugby memories,” said Collins.
“Our new free kids’ membership offering, coupled with the earlier kick off times of 4.45pm or 7.05pm, is just the ticket.
“We hope we will be seeing plenty of families cheering on our Gallagher Chiefs next year.”
Chiefs Rugby Club marketing manager Matt McIvor said the offer allows families to save money while creating lifetime memories.
“We are really excited to help create classic childhood memories for our young Gallagher Chiefs fans,” said Matt.
“Parents and caregivers can now avoid the additional cost of bringing kids to matches while giving them memorable family experiences, which is a massive win/win,” he said.
“It’s not only the seven free match tickets kids will enjoy; they’ll also receive a stack of complimentary benefits both in and out of the stadium from being a loyal 2020 member.”
In addition to the free kids’ memberships, the Chiefs Rugby Club are also rewarding their loyal fans who sign on to a 2020 membership early.
New and renewing members will save 25 per cent before November 28 on the retail value of seven home games.
“There’s a huge amount of excitement amongst our fans with Warren Gatland coming onboard as head coach and with seven of our 2019 Gallagher Chiefs players in action at the Rugby World Cup,” said Matt.
“We want to reward those who show their loyalty early by joining us as members for 2020.”
All memberships include a secured seat/access to the home games at FMG Stadium Waikato and a long list of member benefits, freebies, discounts and invites to exclusive events — as well as priority purchase rights to the All Blacks test.
