Couple guesting at Country Club

Te Awamutu Country Music Club members are excited to welcome The Allenz to club day this Saturday.

The Allenz — Jody and Stacey Allen — describe themselves as a fun loving, married couple who have recently made Matamata their home town after spending the last 10 years in Australia.

They met online 11 years ago and found that living across the ditch has given them not only valuable experience of performing live, but meeting with many cultures amongst the country music realm.

Both love to sing and perform songs made famous by Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and may others, but they also like to add their own twist.

Everyone is welcome to the Methodist Church Hall from 1-4.30pm this Saturday.
