Cambridge hosts Road Cycling Nationals

An action packed weekend of cycling was held in Cambridge with the Ride NZ Cycling Festival 2022 going ahead under red traffic light restrictio­ns as well as dealing with Cyclone Dovi.

Several Te Awamutu Sports Cycling

Club members attended with Ally Wollaston claiming gold in the under-23 road race, Bryony Botha winning bronze in the elite women and Xander White taking bronze in the under-23 men.

Tim Carswell took home the $5000 spot prize and several members achieved great results in the New Zealand Gran Fondo 2022 on Saturday.
