Tourney boosts Make-A-Wish funds
Kihikihi Bowling Club held a successful tournament on Wednesday, February 16, fundraising for the MakeA-Wish Foundation.
It was the club’s first tournament to be run as a fundraiser and it raised $860 for the cause.
Bowls Waikato will generously top up the difference to an even $1000.
The tournament was sponsored by Gary Derbyshire and son from LJ Hooker Te Awamutu and the club appreciates everyone’s support.
Eddie Knox’s team from Frankton Junction Bowling Club won the day, being the only team with four wins.
