Puahue School cookbook sells out

-

The Puahue School PTA Cookbook team have wrapped things up, all of their Around Our Table books have been sold and the proceeds have been handed over to the Puahue Hall renovation project.

The team thanks everyone who helped to make the cookbook a reality and raise a generous amount of money for the community.

Contributions from 85 local businesses and the purchasing of books helped to raise $86,900 to gift to the Puahue Hall renovation project, “showing the generous community spirit”.

The funds have helped take the planned hall upgrade to its next stage, where building consent has been granted for the renovation.

The cookbook team are humbled by the feedback from people who have made recipes from the book.

When the team started the fundraising journey, they wanted a recipe book that could be treasured within the community for a long time.

The book is a thoughtful and delicious collection of treasured recipes to nourish and enjoy containing over 200 recipes to cover every occasion; entertaining and celebrations, homely soups, quick and easy family favourites, stunning salads, delectable delights and wholesome breakfasts.

If you missed out on purchasing this book, the cookbook team donated a copy to Waipa¯ District Libraries.
