Kergozou wins A Grade in week 8 of summer series

It was a great evening for week 8 of Te Awamutu Sports Cycling’s Spoken Cycles Summer Series with excellent numbers despite Omicron in the Waikato. Nick Kergozou took the win in a strong A Grade field with a winning time of 33.21 minutes. There are two races remaining — one more road race and a time trial on March 15.

B Grade: 1st Josh Lane 37:47; 2nd

Mike Gilbert 37:52; 3rd Jim McMurray 37:54.

C Grade: 1st Kyle Paris 39:44; 2nd Cameron Senior 39:44; 3rd Tim Carswell 39:45.

D Grade: 1st Ben Hogan 43:33; 2nd

Alistair Mackintosh 43:33; 3rd Tim Goodson 43:33.

E Grade: 1st Selwyn Paris 47:48; 2nd Mark Jeffcoat 47:49; 3rd Johnathan Bayley 47:49.
