Skip successful in women's champs
Bowls Te Awamutu’s Women’s Club Champs have seen success recently for skip Diane Sharpe in both the triples and the fours.
The triples were played over two days in hot conditions on February 22-23.
Diane, along with Christine Ball and Annette Shilton, triumphed over some stiff competition to win the title.
The fours event was played on March 1 with just four teams entered; it was played in a roundrobin format.
Diane’s team comprising of herself, Toni Roberts-Hislop, Gill Jones and Dawn Highnam went through unbeaten to pick up that title.
