Vets played ambrose with a difference, the winning team being Malcolm Sturgeon, Maree Whiteman, Tony Webber and Donna Reynolds with 65 nett.

Second was Ian Julian, Eric Mills, John loder and Brian Marcroft with 67.5 Nett.

Mark Keesom Twilight was won by Chris Will on countback from Rob McLennan with 24 Points, John Donderwink­el and Rob Edwards on 23 points, Tony Ivanovich 22 points, Malcolm Sturgeon 21 points. Special note was Alex Wood scoring a hole in one on the par 4 second hole. Saturday Scramble:

The best Gross was Malcolm Jacobs with 73, Nett scores were 68 Malcolm Jacobs, 71 Luke Graham and Robert Mitchell, 72 Greg Inglis and Eric Mills, 73 Bruce Wood and Andrew

Twos on the day were had by Eric Mills, Margaret Johnstone, John Simons and Greg Inglis. Women’s Championsh­ip Pennants team of Deb Foster, Michelle Galbraith, Emma Yarndley and Debbie Crocker played Matamata 1 at Hamilton Golf Club, unfortunat­ely losing 4.5 games to 1.5.

Men’s Handicap Strokeplay Pennants team of Mark Grocott, Ross Briffault, Haki Walker and Trevor Bell played at Puta¯ruru in the last round of qualifying, They will now play in the finals on April 3 having qualified in fourth place.
