Triples trophy draws big turnout

A successful tournament was held at Kihikihi Bowling Club on Wednesday, March 23 as more than 20 teams chased their spot on the new triples trophy.

Fourth place with 31⁄2 wins was W. Wenhan’s team from Beerescour­t.

In third place was D. Te Momo’s team from te awamutu with four wins — 17ends.

Second place was O. Johnston’s team from Kihikihi (21 ends) leaving the winners, D. Meinune’s team from Frankton Junction with 21 ends, to have their names on the trophy.
