Liquor ban at lake

Temporary liquor bans are to be imposed again at the Mighty River Domain, Lake Kara¯ piro. It will be an offence to consume alcohol during organised events throughout the year, with the exception of the Sir Don Rowlands Centre and buildings belonging to sporting groups. The ban will be relaxed from 5-9pm in the upper campground to allow visitors to enjoy a drink with dinner.
