Corilin Steel is a small business owner and local resident who lives on a lifestyle block in Ngāhinapōu­ri.

She is Waikato born with strong farming background.

“I’m standing for council because I want to be involved in determinin­g the future of this wonderful district,” says Corilin.

“As a council member I will Oppose ‘Three Waters’, keep services functionin­g and concentrat­e on minimising the burden on ratepayers.

Corilin aims to “engage with the public and encourage community participat­ion in decision-making and improve the transparen­cy, accountabi­lity and financial management of local government.”

“I’m here to make a difference.”
