Dennis Clements founded Total Tree Care in 1992 after he qualified as an arborist.

The industry was in its infancy then with one crew carrying out the work. Over the years since, the staff has grown along with their skills. Dennis takes great pride in the fact that he runs a small, tight-knit, family-themed business with his staff of six arborists. This means you get arborists that really care about their work and your job.

Along with a growing staff, the equipment we use has also grown, so we are more than capable of handling most tasks that come our way. Total Tree Care’s modern equipment includes the latest model Hansa chippers made here in the Waikato, which are capable of chipping logs up to 10 inches or 250mm diameter, Vermeer stump grinders that make short work of large stumps and small narrow Predator 460 that has no problem getting into those tight places. We also use the latest in cordless chain saws for environment friendly purpose. ( no noise/smoke )
