Mike Fox appointed TLC Chief Executive
WESCT congratulates Mike on his appointment as TLC Chief Executive.
Mike has been with TLC for five years, holding the role of General Manager, Network.
He has worked in the electricity industry for 18 years, bringing an extensive background in asset management, planning, engineering and strategic direction to the role of leading TLC.
Mike is also a trustee of the Maru Energy Trust.
TLC Inspiring Local Minds Scholarships
Three school leavers were recently awarded TLC Inspiring Local Minds Scholarships. Una Drayton, Thomas Verry, and Christopher Bailey will receive $2000 for each year of study to help their education journey.
Line competition success for TLC
TLC’s team of Dion Adams, Matthew Tamaira, Brayden Crown and Wiremu Te Tawhero took part in the Connexis annual line competition. They won the Line Mechanic Build and Line Mechanic Dismantle Champion categories; and Wiremu won the Ross Archer Memorial Line Mechanic Safety Award.
