Three-day feast of music
Branded Country Music Fest is a three-day country music festival starting from 2pm on Friday, November 11 until Sunday, November 13 at Te Awamutu Rugby Sports and Recreation Club.
Saturday starts at 10am with an open microphone session. Invited singers start at 1pm and then there will be a showcase concert starting at 6pm. Sunday kicks off at 9.30am and continues until “we've had enough”.
The weekend pass is $50. The cost for individual days is Friday $25, Saturday $30, and Sunday $10.
This is their fourth festival in Te Awamutu and this year they have a total of 28 singers from all over New Zealand.
Te Awamutu artists Donna Saunders and Trevor V Stevens are part of the showcase concerts.
Other singers are Coopers Run of Matamata, Craig Robertson of Thames, Dennis August of Mount Maunganui, Joy Adams of Huntly, Keinan Ngapo of Tokoroa, Charmaine Puriri of Hastings and Joshua Gray of Tauranga.
Te Awamutu Rugby Sports and Recreation Club is at 420 Albert Park Drive.
