Matchplay Club Championships finals were held on Sunday. Winner of the senior men was Sam Towers from Derek Hill, while the intermediatemen waswon by Scott Sands from Ivan Riggir and the junior men’s title went to Allan Duncan from Dave Ferguson. The junior B final was competed over 18 holes and won by Welby Murrell from John Darragh.

Gemma Towers took the senior ladies title from Mary Wano and the bronze 1 ladies was won by Jeanie Kay from Pauline Chisholm. Marg Ritchie won the ladies bronze 2 final from Elaine Troutbeck.

The nine-hole winners were Karen Corkill — Division 1; Gill Johnston — Division 2.

Ladies held an interesting Bisque Bogey with Jeanie Kay, Annette Bryant and Marg Ritchie all finishing five-up. Elaine Troutbeck and Glennis Kay juggled their results to four-up.
