Matchplay Club Championsh­ips finals were held on Sunday. Winner of the senior men was Sam Towers from Derek Hill, while the intermedia­temen waswon by Scott Sands from Ivan Riggir and the junior men’s title went to Allan Duncan from Dave Ferguson. The junior B final was competed over 18 holes and won by Welby Murrell from John Darragh.

Gemma Towers took the senior ladies title from Mary Wano and the bronze 1 ladies was won by Jeanie Kay from Pauline Chisholm. Marg Ritchie won the ladies bronze 2 final from Elaine Troutbeck.

The nine-hole winners were Karen Corkill — Division 1; Gill Johnston — Division 2.

Ladies held an interestin­g Bisque Bogey with Jeanie Kay, Annette Bryant and Marg Ritchie all finishing five-up. Elaine Troutbeck and Glennis Kay juggled their results to four-up.
