Nic& Mewere on the ball with picks

Te Awamutu business Nic & Me scraped in by one point as champions of the Picksters competition after the grand finale of the 2022 Bunnings Warehouse NPC.

The Nic& Meteam of Lynne Dill and Alexis Parker received their certificate and prize of an NZME advertising voucher last week after a close competition.

Nic & Me says the secret to winning was probably “keeping an eye on the games and results coming out of each week”.

Lynne was a social member of Te Awamutu United as a teenager, so has a good understanding of rugby while Alexis, along with her dad, is a keen Hautapu supporter and a regular on the sidelines.

McDonald’s Te Awamutu finished in second place with Power Chill trailing in third, equal with NZME.

PGG Wrightson placed just one point behind them with HTSL Diesel Mechanical rounding off the Picksters.

The Picksters competitions have run for many years in the Te Awamutu Courier and are a great way for like-minded sports enthusiasts and local businesses to be involved as well as advertise their business in a regular spot.

Thank you to all the Picksters involved, we hope you had fun competing and we wish to see you all again next season.

Keep an eye out for future NZME competitions.
