Kaipaki connection has been performing for ND in Ford Trophy
It’s been an impressive few weeks for Te Awamutu Sports and Kaipaki cricketer Kristian Clarke, making his List A debut for Northern Districts and putting in two great bowling performances at
Whangārei’s Cobham Oval.
Last Wednesday saw all-rounder Clarke set the tone in the first half of the Ford Trophy match against Canterburywith four wickets. He finished with 4/40 off his nine overs as the ND side were victorious by eight wickets on Duckworth–Lewis–Stern.
On Sunday against the Wellington Firebirds, Clarke again claimed four wickets, one of the positives in a tough 50-run defeat.
Round four takes place at Seddon Park in Hamilton today against the Auckland Aces.
