All levels catered for when you get physical in Pirongia
There's plenty on offer for all the family at Pirongia this summer. The ever-popular touch and beach volleyball competitions will run on Friday nights. With four courts operating to cater for 24 teams, the volleyball promises to be entertaining.
You'll need to move quickly to get your team entered.
Touch will have a competitive and a social grade to cater for all skill levels. Get a team together and have some fun.
Both sports are mixed teams only. ‘Nourished by Lylie’ will be open on Friday nights, serving up delicious meals and takeaways.
Pirongia Tennis Club has planned a summer of tennis to suit all. We will be holding an open day barbecue on Friday, October 13 for all to come down and hear what exciting plans we have for term four.
Last season we had a very successful turnout for junior tennis. This will begin again on Friday, October 27 — more information to come. Keep an eye out for info on a business house competition and a special Wine and Tennis evening for ladies.

The Cricket Club plays in the Waikato Valley reserve grade competition. Pirongia are perennial contenders in the final, last year going down by four runs in a nailbiter to Kaihere.
Always on the hunt for new players, we welcomed our first-ever female player last year which has been great for the team culture. An exciting new major sponsor this year is going to allow for some top of the line upgrades to playing and training kit.
Training will be Wednesday nights 6pm at the Pirongia nets, starting September 27.
The Squash Club will be running a business house competition on Wednesday nights. Grab your mates and get down to the courts to soak up the social atmosphere. New members are also welcome to play the weekly club ladder. All ages and abilities are catered for.
