Skillet back in NZ

-

Fingers had been crossed and eyes beseechingly facing skyward since Skillet last played in NZ on November 22, 2018.

Fans and the curious who ventured out to that show are now rejoicing as one of the best-selling rock bands of the 21st century have announced their imminent return to our shores for a much-anticipated show at Auckland’s iconic Powerstation.

To mark this auspicious occasion, we are beyond rapt to be offering you the chance to win a signed Skillet photo. We have two up for grabs.

Signed by the band on their last visit, the photos have been laminated to ensure their longevity and will be a most welcome addition to the memorabilia collection of any Skillet fan.

Not every rebellion gestates in darkness. Skillet continue to rebel against conventions, doubts, expectations, and rules with the intent to uplift in light. Skillet have never compromised their integrity or their faith. Instead, they have travelled their own path to unprecedented heights with an urgent sound, undeniable energy, and unbreakable spirit.

The Wisconsin quartet have embodied rock ‘n’ roll’s evolution from day one, selling 12 million albums worldwide to date.

Landmark Triple Platinum album Awake, featuring the double-platinum track Awake & Alive, triple-platinum track Hero and quadruple-platinum track Monster (one of the moststreamed rock songs in history with over 4 billion global audio streams) went on to pick up the Billboard Music Award.

The band’s 2019 album, Victorious, marked the group’s fourth consecutive Top

20 debut on the Billboard Top 200. Their brand-new album, Dominion, is a testament

to the band’s enduring appeal, charting strongly and with sales that truly defy the international trend of declining album sales.

John Cooper (lead vocals/ bass), Korey Cooper (guitar/ keys), Jen Ledger (drums/ vocals) and Seth Morrison (lead guitar) —create epic, expansive and anthemic music: the type of rock that is tailor made for a live, up close and personal setting; with their inimitable sound and a vibe like no other, New Zealand will have an all too rare chance to experience the glory that is a Skillet live show this April.

With other such massively popular songs as Feel Invincible, Not Gonna Die, Whispers In The Dark, Rebirthing, Comatose and Rebirthing to name but a few, be prepared to rock till you drop!

Look out at the show too for Be Thou My Vision, something just a little bit different, that has been rapturously received at recent gigs.

The room was instantly captivated, singing along in a roar.” Rock On Purpose
