Effluent expertise at Mystery Creek
Timely advice from experts will feature in seminars at the two-day Effluent Expo at Mystery Creek Events Pavilion on November 27 and 28.
Nearly 100 exhibitors have signed up for this national expo, which features most of the products and services available to dairy farmers. Farmers will have the chance to consult industry experts and accredited system designers.
Expo organiser Amanda Hodgson says there is also a ticket-only casual evening that includes a show by comedy duo The Bitches Box and is open to anyone.
“We’d love to see farmers attend the evening for a casual meal, to mix with exhibitors, and to enjoy the show,” she says.
The topical seminars on both days are expected to offer insight on system design and compliance requirements. They are being delivered by staff from expo sponsors Dairynz and Fonterra. Topics range from best management practice to calculating storage size with examples for small herds or larger options.
Doors are open from 8.30am to 4pm both days, free entry. The ticket-only social evening starts at 4.30pm on the first day. Tickets at $45 available at www.eventfinda.co.nz/ 2018/effluent-expo-networking-event/hamilton.
