Gardens glorious

Te Puke Times - - News -

Hats off to the owners and organisers of last week’s Garden & Artfest. Friends and I visited gardens around the town which were presented beautifully.

We encountered people from around the region, country and overseas, all delighting in the quality of the gardens and the freelyshared knowledge of the owners.

The roses were splendid. Some gardens had restrained palettes, some the range of colours of the cottage garden, all had wonderful fragrances to enjoy.

Our thanks to those who opened their private sanctuaries, we loved the opportunity to see them. LESLEY MISCHEWSKI
