Corker Porker prize

Wendy Howe was the winner of Te Puke Kiwicoast Lions’ Pig in a Barrow raffle. Wendy won a pig cut up to her requirements as well as a barrow filled with groceries. Second prize of a painting went to Gloria Farr. The raffle was started by the Te Puke Lions club many years ago. It had become an annual event just before Christmas and when there was talk of it discontinuing when the club disbanded, Te Puke Kiwicoast Lions took it over.
