Audition call for next show The Vicar of Dibley

- Michelle Cliff Chairperson

Litt Park Theatre stage was full of bright young faces with Carol Power Voice Studio students presenting their latest show. Some were treading the boards for their first time while others showed skills and talents in dance and voice, combining to create a very successful production with sold out shows. Congratulations to all involved.

Our own Gone To Seed is in the last few weeks of rehearsal and looking great. Tickets sales are well on the way and available at www. eventspronto.co.nz/tprs or at Giftrapt Te Puke. Our new box office will be officially opened at 6.45pm on Gala Night, August 31, and after the show our 70th anniversary will be celebrated. These are significant milestones in the life of Te Puke Repertory.

We are thrilled to announce that our end of year show will be The Vicar of Dibley, which will delight our loyal audiences. So if you have thought “No, no, no, no, no, no . . . YES’, I want to be on stage, this is your opportunity. We need all those well-loved characters of the Dibley Parish Council, David Horton, Hugo, Owen, Frank and

Jim, along Vicar Geraldine and her hapless verger Alice Tinker. Also required are the fine culinary skills of Letitia Cropley with her famous ‘Parsnip Brownies’ and ‘Egg and Liver Sandwiches’.

Auditions are on Sunday, September 4, 2pm at the Litt Park Theatre. Contact director Michelle Cliff at tepukerep01@gmail.com.

Come along and share your talents at Te Puke Repertory.
