Audience wowed by vocal ability of hard-working young performers
The Carol Power Voice Studio students entertained their audiences in their sold-out production Princes and Princesses Mashup with songs from Frozen, Tangled, Encanto, Moana, Mulan and many more.
The show started with our their very own Ma¯ ori Princess, Daysie Tamatea, singing Kotahitanga which set the scene.
The audience was wowed by the vocal ability of the cast which Carol said was due to

all the cast members’ hard work.
All the cast have vocal lessons with Carol where they develop their contemporary singing skills.
Some of the vocalists have only been learning to sing for a term, while others have been learning for a number of years, such as Amelia Crenfeldt, who will auditioning for Musical Theatre Degree in Melbourne at the end of the month.
There was also an appearance from the Te Puke Youth Choir in the Little Mermaid section of the show.
Carol says she is extremely proud of all the students’ performances on stage, but she is as equally proud of how they all supported and encouraged each other behind the scenes.
