Meet candidates tonight

There’s a chance to find out more about this year’s local body election candidates at a special speed dating-style event this evening.

Candidates standing for the Western Bay of Plenty District Council’s Maketu¯-te Puke ward, for Te Puke and Maketu¯ community boards and local candidates standing for a seat on the Bay of Plenty Regional Council have been invited to the event at Te Puke Citizen’s/rsa starting at 6pm.

Each candidate will give a short introduction to themselves and then voters will be able to move from table to table to ask questions of the candidates.
