Horowitz has created a credible and pulsating story of the greatest spy in a life that is quite different from his early career as a licensed-to-kill secret agent. But Bond's life has always been complicated and unpredictable, and Horowitz brings that aspect of his personality in a more mature and sometimes more sensitive way to the fore.
As a longtime James Bond fan I reckon 007's fans will find With a Mind to a Kill a very satisfying read. — Tony Nielsen
