-

Michelle Roberts entered the beauty industry nearly 20 years ago with a Diploma in makeup artistry and a passion to work with people.

She has worked with a multitude of personalities from all around the world and her journey has lead her to recently train in micro-pigmentation – cosmetic tattoo – specialising in eyebrows.

She has recently opened a home studio in Kerikeri called Brows By Meesh.

At Brows by Meesh, Michelle believes every woman deserves to look and feel beautiful everyday. Not only on special occasions or for the benefit of others, simply for your benefit and your own well being. Without having to spend your valuable time and effort everyday applying make up that just rubs off anyway!

There are so many benefits to having permanent make up for the right people.

Firstly, it is a great time-saver, and can boost your confidence. Eyebrows frame the face and make a big difference on how you look. With permanent well defined eyebrows you wake up looking great. Another plus is over summer your eyebrows won’t smudge off when swimming or playing sport in the heat.

People with physical disabilities or impaired motor skills may want permanent makeup because it’s difficult for them to apply makeup themselves

People with poor eyesight may invest in permanent makeup for the same reasons.

People who have sparse eyebrows can benefit by restoring colour and definition.

People who suffer from many medical conditions such as alopecia, tourettes, cancer, strokes can also benefit greatly from this procedure.

The benefits of permanent cosmetics are endless and very client-specific.
