THE 22-year-old co-hosts Maori Television’s health and fitness series, Ka TV (Saturdays, 7pm), with Tara Puke and celebrity personal trainer Mika. The town and country I was born in: Mangere, Aotearoa.

I’m best known for: My smile. My last two jobs were: Co-hosting Ka TV with Miss Fitness, Tara Puke. Before that, I choreographed and performed in last year’s Mika’s Aroha Mardi Gras special during the Rugby World Cup. Currently, I am the team leader of the Mika Haka Foundation’s Ka in schools programme, helping get all those inactive rangatahi active. My TV hero is: Manu Bennett, awesome actor on Spartacus, because he took me on set one day. Way cool. The last thing I watched was: Boxset DVD compilations of the geekiest TV series out – The IT Crowd and The Big Bang Theory. I got where I am today because . . . I surround myself with the most insanely talented work colleagues who encourage me every day. I secretly crave: Shush – that’s classified information. I want to be a werewolf. My worst subject at school was: I always got an A+ for attitude, but as for maths or English – well, let’s just say I wasn’t Einstein in those departments. I would do a nude scene for: A part in Twilight. Twitter is . . . a socialnetworking system for sharing what you are having for lunch. Currently Instagram is my favourite SM of choice. I’d leap at the chance to . . . get a lead role in a major film, especially anything with vampires or geeks, or both. My momentary style obsession is: Dressing with a bit of colour. I’m over dressing in black. I was once completely embarrassed when: People would say the lines word for word back to me from TV shows I’ve been on.
