Andrew, 42, and Belinda, 26, Welch of Auckland. Were holidaying in a beachfront bungalow in Khao Lak, Thailand, when the tsunami struck. Stephen Bond, 46, formerly of Christchur­ch. Lived in Bangkok with his Thai wife, Janjira, who was also presumed killed. The couple were holidaying near Khao Lak with their three children, who survived. Leone Cosens, 51, formerly of Kapiti. Had lived in Phuket for 12 years where she ran an organisati­on looking after stray dogs. Craig Baxter, 37, born in Auckland but raised in Australia. Was living in Thailand with his Thai wife, Maliwan. They were holidaying on Phi Phi Island when he died. June Kander, 74, a New Zealandbor­n Canadian citizen killed while visiting the Sri Lankan coastal town of Mirissa. The identity of the seventh New Zealander presumed dead was not revealed.
