Was living in Thailand with his Thai wife, Maliwan. They were holidaying on Phi Phi Island when he died. June Kander, 74, a New Zealandborn Canadian citizen killed while visiting the Sri Lankan coastal town of Mirissa. The identity of the seventh New Zealander presumed dead was not revealed.
