Rabbit Beach, Lampedusa, southern Italy

Rabbit Beach can be found on the island of Lampedusa off the south coast of Sicily in the warm waters of the Mediterranean where loggerhead sea turtles go to lay their eggs. With calm crystal clear waters and glittering white sand, the beach is accessed by boat or via a 30-minute walk. You won’t see many rabbits, though tourists talk of a few stray dogs catching some rays.
