Snow puts off parade
BOSTON will delay until tomorrow its parade to celebrate the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl victory, after Mayor Marty Walsh decided to push the event back because of a snowstorm pounding the city.
Boston had intended to host the parade today. But heavy snowfall is expected and temperatures are expected to drop as low as -9 C.
Thousands of fans are expected to turn out as the team tours the city in World War II-era amphibious trucks known as ‘‘duck boats’’ in what has become a tradition for Boston’s championship clubs.
Fans are calling Monday one of the best Super Bowls ever, as the Patriots clinched their fourth title.
