1. PEACH CRUMBLE CAKE

Serves: 8-10 Preparatio­n: 15 minutes Cooking: 50 minutes This is a good way to use up lessthan-perfect peaches – the ones that accidental­ly got squashed on the way home. It’s great with a dollop of yoghurt or whipped cream, or as a lunchbox treat. For the crumble topping: 50g butter 41⁄ tablespoon­s flour 1 tablespoon sugar

cup whole almonds, coarsely chopped For the cake: 150g soft butter 11⁄ cups caster sugar

teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup ground almonds 3 eggs 1 cup flour 11⁄ teaspoons baking powder 2 cups sliced stonefruit
